About this position
About this Position
- The job purpose is to provide full formulation development service to ensure future requirement of respective business units are reflected in the long-term platform programs.
What you´ll do
- Drive Consumer-Focused Technology Development:
- Design and deliver robust laundry formulations that align with Henkel’s strategic objectives, performance targets, safety standards, quality industrialization criteria, sustainability commitments, regulatory requirements, and established project timelines. Experienced in OEM/ODM management. - Lead Cross-Functional NPD Projects:
- Own end-to-end new product development (NPD) for laundry and home-care innovations. Develop detailed retro-plans, experimental designs, and risk assessment, while coordinating and collaborating with R&D processing, procurement, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, and other key stakeholders. - Translate Insights into Compelling Claims:
-Partner with Marketing to craft differentiated product claims. Translate technology into marketing language. Leverage technical expertise, consumer insights, market trends, and business priorities to inform and shape laundry innovations. Prepare demonstration samples, technical communication whitepapers, and application guides to support Marketing and Sales initiatives. - Deliver Technical Training & Support:
- Develop and conduct comprehensive technical trainings for Supply Chain teams, Sales representatives, and export markets—ensuring consistent, up-to-date knowledge of product features, handling procedures, and application benefits. - Manage Intellectual Property & Global Communications:
- Lead patent strategy and application processes; liaise with global R&D colleagues to share technical developments, best practices, and formulation guidelines. - Ensure the good practice of lab EHS policy.
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s degree with >5 years’ experience or bachelor’s degree with >7 years’ experience in cosmetic or laundry and homecare industry. 2yrs+ formula development working experience in laundry and homecare.
- International FMCG company experience is more desired.
- Major in chemistry related.
- Fluent in both oral and written English (CET-6 or any equal certification).
- Experience in launching new laundry formulation. Capable of independent laundry formulation design with validated experience in production.
- Translate technical information into consumer language.
- Familiar with LHC RM suppliers, claim test agency, ODM/OEM.
- ODM/OEM manage experience.
- Good communication with global team.
- Familiar with office software, particularly excel and PPT; Familiarity with digital tools including Power BI.
- Passionate in laundry and homecare industry.
- Fast learner.
- Entrepreneurship & leadership.
- Able to work under pressure.
