What you´ll do
- Executes new product development projects, develops new approaches, solutions, processes, products based on customer and market requirements and market trends.
- Prepare samples, conduct pilot-scale production, and monitor product stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and support sales and application teams.
- Ensures compliance with Henkel corporate SHE standards, policies and procedures and manages the lab and innovation process.
- Ensures that Henkel's new IP is protected through collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Provides guidance and recommendations on patents, trademarks and proprietary agreements.
- Connects with consumers and generates consumer insights through various platforms.
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum MS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related a discipline, preferred PhD.
- 2+ years of industry experience with PhD, 5+ years of experience with MS with conformal coating.
- 5+ years of industry experience with PhD, 7+ years of experience with MS with general coating.
- Deep understanding on the product development of coatings with a focus on conformal coatings.
- Demonstrated product launch experience for both market and customer focused applications.
- Knowledge of structure-property relationship of materials and analytical and materials characterization techniques (DMA, TMA, DSC, TGA, SEM, HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, ICP-MS, GPC, etc.).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with REACH, RoHS, VOC limits, product registration and other relevant environmental and safety regulations.
- This is an onsite role. Traveling of up to 20% can be part of this role.

The salary for this role is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
