About this Position
As a Business Controlling Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the financial health of HCB Professional within the APAC region. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver insightful monthly and quarterly reporting packages that empower decision-making and drive operational efficiency.You will be part of a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and excellence in financial controlling. Reporting directly to the APAC Regional Controlling Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with diverse teams and contribute to meaningful projects that impact operations significantly. This role presents unique challenges in adapting reporting templates to evolving business needs and conducting special analyses that provide actionable insights. Your analytical skills and proactive approach will not only tackle immediate tasks but also foster a culture of quality and collaboration throughout the organization. What you´ll do
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages for HCB Professional – APAC Regional Controlling and other controlling activities, validate data, and collaborate directly with counterparts in accordance with the Service Level Agreement
- Create reporting templates based on the need of the business or requirements of the stakeholders
- Performs Special analyses and/or ad hoc tasks required by stakeholders or assigned by the supervisor
- Support APAC Regional Controlling during business planning
- Support projects related to operations, evaluates process improvement opportunities, and ensure update of process documentations. Share opportunities with business partners
- Communicates with various stakeholders for inquiries related to specific tasks
- Creates root cause analysis and provide solutions. Contributes to GBS+ Quality goals
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Management-related courses
- With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in General Accounting, Controlling and Reporting, preferably from a multinational or shared service center (SSC) working environment
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office is required; Knowledge in VBA a plus
- Knowledge in dashboard creation (Power BI); Experience in SAP and cube-based reports in Excel
- Proficient English communication skills; With analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent project management skills and have continuous improvement mindset; Should be customer and results oriented
- Amenable to work on a day shift schedule (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
