What you´ll do

The Machine Operator runs packaging line equipment to produce high-quality laundry products, works as part of a team, and helps minimize production interruptions.

  • Sets up, operates and adjusts machines and production equipment safely, in accordance with instructions and specifications.
  • Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufactured faulty products, documenting appropriately and including recognizing critical stop production quality issues and pursuing corrective actions.
  • Clean and inspect equipment according to current department procedures.
  • Perform basic to intermediate mechanical activities to troubleshoot, repair, and adjust packaging line equipment.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, such as clearing jams, checking sensors, and cleaning eyes.

What makes you a good fit

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience required in a manufacturing setting.
  • Must have basic-level to intermediate-level computer (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience and basic math skills.
  • Must be able to pivot and adapt to changing priorities in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Must be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences, including activities for active listening, clear presentation skills, and the capacity to provide and receive feedback at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (100 lbs with help), push/pull up to 600 lbs with equipment, use hand tools with dexterity, and have adequate vision (with corrective lenses) including close, distance, and color perception.
  • Must be able to work 12 hours shifts, including some weekends and holidays, Day Shift 6:45am - 7pm.

There is a $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for this role. The hourly range for this role is $22.52 - $27.52. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
