Senior Application Engineer

What you´ll do

• Responsible for product recommendation, customized product applications, new product demonstration and troubleshooting for customers.
• Investigate and address product quality issues / customers complaints. Responsible for validating defects, verifying root cause and impact to performance, design &/or perform lab testing. Collaborate with relevant parts of the organization to follow up progress on complaints and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Recommends solution and perform technical visits (meeting, audits, trials, demonstrations, troubleshooting, etc.) for customers with documentation.
• Works with application equipment and support process optimization to provide solutions to enhance customer processes.
• Reports technical results and contributes to customer presentationsใ
• Works effectively on SBU and/or Regional specific projects. Contributes to project plans and helps the team to deliver project goals.
• Perform the laboratory work (incl. prioritization) from customer requests and report technical results to customers.
• Responsible for the lab equipment assigned, familiar with operating the equipment. Ensure regular maintenance and safety documentation in place.
• Project management and coordination on technical aspects of product application. Is responsible to work closely with global team and align on key projects and business priorities
• Responsible to conduct product application and/or technical training for customers and internal team
• Responsible for directly communicating with sales, marketing, PD, Innovation, members of Application Engineering team or project team members.
• Share knowledge and experiences with team members.
• Promotes internal SBU Innovations and best learning cross accounts.
• Respects and promotes the internal Henkel SHEQ rules.
