Henkel is expanding its presence in Europe for the Water & Civil Infrastructure team within the Infrastructure Protection and Repair group. With industry leading solutions focused on valve insertion, structural reinforcement and pipe lining, Henkel is driving rapid growth for these key technologies. For valve insertion, this is accomplished through the manufacturing and supply of the AVT EZ-Valve insertion valve for water, wastewater, process piping, manufacturing, and utility infrastructure.  In structural reinforcement, Henkel is the leading manufacturer and designer of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) systems and adjacent solutions for strengthening concrete, masonry, steel, wooden structures, as well as large diameter, high-pressure pipelines through its Tyfo & RenewWrap solutions. In pipe lining, Henkel is a global leader in the development, manufacturing, and commercial application of geopolymer materials that are used in a wide variety of applications to repair and rehabilitate Civil, Industrial, Commercial, and Underground infrastructure.

These three product lines are rapidly growing. The position of Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving acceptance and sales growth of the suite of technologies within Southern EU countries (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Balkans).

  • Develop new customers and expand sales in existing key accounts
  • Develop customer relationships within assigned customers/territory, gain an understanding of customer business requirements, and proactively develop solutions and programs to meet those needs
  • Leverage Advanced Valve Technologies defined sales processes to build accounts and utilize the company’s CRM system (SalesForce) for maintenance and development of prospects, customers, opportunities, quotes, and sales activities
  • Meet/exceed annual sales quota for assigned customers and territory
  • Gain knowledge of the suite of technologies represented in this role and convey that knowledge to prospective customers and infrastructure owners

What makes you a good fit

  • Degree in Management, Engineering, Technical or Business fields
  • Experience in various aspects of civil infrastructure
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Management skill regarding channel network and/or contracting partnerships to maximize coverage and sales performance
  • Read and basic knowledge to interpret technical datasheets
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced group and respond quickly
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM tool and Office package
  • Willingness to travel (a minimum of 75% travel within the territory)
