About this Position
At Henkel, we are looking for an accomplished commercial leader to drive our Andean business across Colombia and Peru. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing sales organization, accelerating profitable growth, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and ensuring excellence in execution across both markets.
Based in Bogotá, this position offers a unique opportunity to influence business performance across two of the most important markets in the region while developing teams and building long-term customer partnerships.
What you´ll do
- ·Lead the overall sales strategy and execution for Colombia and Peru, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sustainable growth ambitions.
- ·Deliver sales, profitability, and market share targets across the Andean Cluster.
- ·Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing sales organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- ·Coach and mentor three senior sales leaders, while providing strategic direction for a broader team of approximately 39 employees.
- ·Drive commercial excellence through effective sales planning, forecasting, performance monitoring, and customer engagement strategies.
- ·Lead strategic negotiations with key customers and retail partners to maximize business opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- ·Ensure effective implementation of pricing strategies, commercial policies, and revenue growth initiatives.
- ·Identify growth opportunities and develop action plans to expand business with existing and new customers.
- ·Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated commercial solutions.
- ·Leverage market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to shape business decisions and accelerate growth.
- ·Ensure effective territory coverage, resource allocation, and organizational effectiveness across both countries.
- ·Champion customer-centric initiatives that strengthen loyalty, improve service levels, and enhance long-term business relationships.
What makes you a good fit
·Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field; MBA is a plus.
·Extensive commercial leadership experience within the FMCG industry.
·Proven track record leading large, geographically dispersed sales organizations.
·Strong experience managing business across both Colombia and Peru.
·Demonstrated success in key account management, customer negotiations, and business development.
·Strong strategic mindset combined with excellent execution capabilities.
·Experience leading organizational transformation and developing high-performing teams.
·Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
·Strong analytical and financial acumen.
·Fluent English and Spanish required.
·Willingness to travel regularly across Colombia and Peru.
