About this Position
Application engineer is responsible for providing technical support of semiconductor adhesive through intensive communication, application test and analysis with regional / global team and customers as well.
What you´ll do
- Application Engineer providing technical support for Henkel's electronics market materials product line (semiconductor).
- Secure technology leadership in development and commercialization of products through material application process optimization and to directly communicate with customers to resolve product and process related issues.
- Solve fundamental issues related to the entire product line and/or product family by developing new application processes, troubleshooting and characterizing materials.
- Responsible for field testing using application and analysis equipment.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related field; Minimum of 1 year of experience in a semiconductor field is preferred
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to successfully handle onsite support of complex customer issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills in one-on-one communication with colleagues/customers as well as in group environments, and the ability to work independently or multitask as a team member.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership to complete projects and consistently deliver the highest level of quality based on a customer-centric mindset and a deep understanding of customer needs and culture.
- Ability to formulate strong conclusions & path forward from project work.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills
