Business Science Manager (d/f/m)

YOUR ROLE 

  • Providing analytic consulting and advanced analytics expertise to existing analytics and business teams related to various areas topics (e.g. marketing, CRM, supply chain, product development, finance etc.)
  • Advisory on linking business KPIs to strategies
  • Extraction of insights from data with the purpose to support data-driven strategic thinking across business units and functions
  • Designing and managing of experiments and analytics projects related to specific objectives and applications
  • Team support in disciplines including data collection, cross-channel data integration, data cleansing, data exploration and visualization and competitive intelligence
  • Deep dive in a variety of modelling techniques including regression, decision trees, neural networks, Bayesian networks, association rules, Natural Language Processing, etc.
  • Generation, evaluation and deployment of econometric and predictive models
  • Documentation and assistance to support and expand the use of existing modeling tools
  • Presentation of results as business solutions for optimization and ROI improvement

YOUR SKILLS

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills combined with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical individuals
  • Creative problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
  • Statistical analysis, predictive modeling or machine learning as applied to marketing, CRM, eCommerce, supply chain, finance etc.
  • Project management (PMP or Scrum Master certification would be beneficial)
  • Proficient in R or Python; experience with SQL would be beneficial
  • General knowledge of data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks and other technical tools (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, AWS)
  • Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
