About this Position
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful projects, contribute to high-visibility process improvements, and work in an environment that values both technical expertise and creative problem-solving. You will also join a dynamic and collaborative team within the Site Process Engineering department, where innovation and continuous improvement are at the core of our operations. The team works closely with cross-functional partners to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives across the site
What you´ll do
- Support product transfers between SBUs and sites, ensuring smooth ramp-up and minimal disruption
- Conduct process capability studies and validation trials to optimize transfer performance
- Provide real-time troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process deviations and equipment issues
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to resolve recurring problems and align on specifications
- Monitor daily production data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance yield and efficiency
- Participate in cross-functional improvement projects and support trials for new materials or equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Drive digital system enhancements and support consistent, effective use of engineering tools
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering of chemical industry is required
- Experience of six sigma projects, and/or hands-on experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and data analysis is preferred. Relevant certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Process Safety or Quality Systems are a plus
- Familiarity with statistical tools (e.g. Minitab) and/or process control systems (e.g. PLC), and/or basic understanding of programming languages, MES and BMS system architectures are preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working on the shopfloors and engaging with operators and technicians
- Native-level proficiency in Korean is required and business proficiency in English is essential
