Global Packaging Engineering Department is responsible to develop, create, test, qualify, optimize and document packaging solutions for Henkel´s Adhesive Technologies Business Unit. We a diverse team with a broad variety of nationalities, education, expertise however we are united in our ambition to create the best packaging solutions for our B2B and B2C customers. An internship at our department is an opportunity to join a thrilling team, to guide a business through a complex but also very interesting environment which offers manifold opportunities to gain experience and insights into the daily work of a global business.

What we offer

  • Assist in the creation of an equipment database with various data to be collected and structured in a way that the team can easily search, access and update the information, meaning injection- and blowmolds, assembly machines, filling- and packaging lines
  • Participation in the implementation and development of global packaging projects
  • Possibility to contribute ideas to our global projects 
  • Active participation in daily business in a team by taking over responsibility for exciting projects, e.g. promotional activities, etc.

Who we are looking for

  • Engineering Master or Bachelor student with focus on material engineering, product development and packaging technology
  • Structured way of working and excellent communication skills in order to be able to collect the technical data to be documented from internal and external partners
  • First practical experience through an earlier internship is preferable (but not expected)
  • English and German language skills are mandatory
  • Basic technical understanding and good knowledge in creation of databases in various applications
  • Analytical thinking and global mindset
